The Great Plains Native Grass Drill is designed to drill seed into residue cover, sod, or firm, bare ground. It was purchased in 2008 and its primary use is for seeding native grasses . When you request the drill, we deliver it to your site and set it for your specific needs. You must be present at delivery for setup instructions.
SPECIFICATIONS: 10' Width, 7.5" spacing, 60 HP Minimum needed, one set of two way hydraulics.
RATES: $50 Delivery and Setup Charge plus $10/acre for each acre. Charges are based on the acreage meter, not the actual acres planted.
Tips for Using the No-Till Drill

This seeder is similar to a cyclone seeder, but is designed to handle native grasses. It works well for small seedings and for seeding terraces and sediment basins. Advance notice is required before picking up from office.
