Tillage Transect Survey

Each year, a survey is conducted in Rice County to determine how much conservation tillage is taking place. A defined route weaving across the county and through every township is used. Every one half mile, residue counts are done on each side of the road. That gives us 752 data points on which to estimate residue. Click on the link below to see the latest results.
